The programme creates powerful ‘aha’ moments, enabling you to move beyond simply applying technical knowledge and instead think, respond and create with the assurance of an accomplished colourist.

This is not a stepping stone towards colour expertise; it is the culmination of it. Therefore, the International Colour Genius community is the highest point of our educational offer, playing a strategic and key role for the brand.

The programme consists of 2 steps:

An entrance exam containing 5 subject area assessments
12 Days in person learning
3 Day exam

To enter the programme you'll have to pass an entrance exam containing 5 subject area assessments.

The entrance exam aims to ensure that you have the correct level of fundamental knowledge about the Davines products, skills and colour science.

You have 1 month of access to the Exam platform & 3 attempts to pass each of the 5 assessments Upon achieving a passing score of 85% or higher on all five assessments. You can download your certificate of completion and take your next steps to enroll on the International Colour Genius programme.
