Sustainable innovation in colouring: View by Davines
By choosing View, Davines Salons contribute to reducing environmental impact. View is a colour line that is 95 to 99 percent biodegradable (biodegradability calculated following internationally recognized guidelines). The bottles are made from recycled plastic, and the CO₂ emissions from production are offset. This line reflects Davines’ commitment to sustainability, containing ingredients that are 88 to 93 percent of natural origin*.
The formula includes “natural polyglycerols,” never used before in hair colour products. These substances are extracted from olive oil, providing the hair with exceptional shine, hydration, and softness while strengthening and respecting the hair structure. They also make the formula more sustainable as mild, biodegradable emulsifiers derived from renewable sources.
*For Davines, “ingredients of natural origin” are those that retain 100 percent of their naturalness, even if chemically transformed by allowed processes. No raw material with synthetic parts is allowed.

The bottles are made from recycled plastic (R-PET). The packaging is carbon neutral.

Non-permanent colour
The colour fades gradually after 15 to 20 washes (4 to 6 weeks) without affecting the natural melanin. Lighter shades may fade faster than darker ones, depending on hair condition and porosity.
Refined and strengthening colour
View is a pH-acidic, demi-permanent, versatile colour line that can be used alone or combined to complement the hair colour range in salons.

VIEW is based on a two-component system - a non-ammonia colour formulation and a 10 volume Activator - which combine to create a creamy gel texture that is versatile and easy to use.

VIEW replaces traditional synthetic emulsifiers with ones made from natural polyglycerols extracted from olive oil - an innovation that’s never been used in the world of hair colour before.
Polyglicerols are only compatible with certain pH conditions not typically seen in colouring systems. But thanks to research by the Davines Laboratories, we have developed a highly natural, sustainable and innovative colouring system.

use
VIEW
Step 01: Prepare the formula using an equal mix of one part colour to one part 10 vol activator.
Step 02: Apply the formula to shampooed, thoroughly towel dried hair.
Step 03: Leave the formula to develop for 20 minutes to achieve maximum colour intensity.
Step 04: Add a little water to emulsify the colour then rinse off the formula.
Step 05: Shampoo the hair with the most suitable shampoo and conditioner.
