The Educator Journey

• VIDEO SUBMISSION

  The candidate creates an account on davinespro.com and submits a 3-5 minute video expressing interest in becoming a Davines educator.

• PRODUCT AND COLOR KNOWLEDGE

  Upon acceptance of the video submission, the candidate will receive a private link by email to complete the product knowledge and color knowledge courses on DavinesPro. These courses will ensure solid knowledge of Davines products and color.
• 

  DISCOVER

  After successfully completing the product and color knowledge assessments, the candidate will be invited to attend a 3-day Discover Train the Trainer (TTT), focusing on presentation skills, product knowledge, color application and blowdrying.

• 

  IMMERSE

  After successfully completing the Discover TTT and teaching the Discover classes, the educator will be invited to attend a 3-day Immerse TTT focusing on color theory, formulation, and application with the support of styling and treatments.

  When certified*, the educator can teach Immerse classes.

• 

  ADVANCE

  After successfully completing the Immerse TTT and teaching the Immerse classes, the educator will be invited to a 3-day Advance TTT focusing on in-depth color correction, formulation and techniques, supported by treatments and styling.

  When certified*, the educator can teach Advance classes.

• Work in a Davines salon carrying 80% Davines products and Davines color. *Please note you should have working knowledge of the following lines:
  • Color:
    • Mask with Vibrachrom*
    • View*
    • The Century of Light*
    • A New Colour
    • Finest Pigments

*Mask with Vibrachrom, View, and The Century of Light are required. Carrying A New Colour and Finest Pigments are not required, but a working knowledge of these lines is important to your growth as a Davines Educator.

• Embrace the Davines brand and values.
• Possess strong technical skills with an artistic flair.
• Be a credible, authentic presenter with professional hair and wardrobe.
• Maintain a professional social media presence.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a colorist.

• Introduce yourself, salon, location and distributor.
• Include how long you have been in the industry and with Davines.
• Explain why you would like to become a Davines educator?
• Discuss what sustainability means to you?
• Include any other things about yourself you think we would find interesting.
• Show salon environment and representation of Davines product displays
  and color.
